The journey matters too

From domestic hops and long-haul economy to Business Class suites, lie-flat beds and once-in-a-lifetime First Class experiences, I’ll help you find the right flight for the way you want to travel.

More than getting from A to B

he right flight can shape your entire trip.

It might mean choosing a direct route instead of losing a day to connections. Paying a little more for extra legroom. Booking a cabin where you can sleep properly before an important meeting. Or turning the flight itself into part of the experience.

I’ll compare routes, timings, cabin options and trusted suppliers to help you make an informed choice based on what matters most to you.

Because the cheapest flight is not always the best value.

Which cabin is right for you?

Economy

A straightforward option for travellers who want to keep costs down.

I’ll help you compare more than the headline fare, including:

  • Checked baggage

  • Seat selection

  • Meals

  • Change conditions

  • Connection times

  • Airport choices

A cheaper fare can quickly become less attractive once essential extras are added.

Premium Economy

More space and comfort without moving fully into Business Class.

Depending on the airline and aircraft, this may include:

  • Wider seats

  • Extra legroom and recline

  • Improved meals

  • Priority check-in or boarding

  • Increased baggage allowance

  • A smaller, quieter cabin

Premium Economy can be especially worthwhile on longer daytime flights or overnight journeys where Economy feels too restricted but Business Class is beyond the preferred budget.

Business Class

Designed for travellers who want the journey to feel easier from the moment they arrive at the airport.

Depending on the airline and route, Business Class can include:

  • Priority check-in and security

  • Lounge access

  • Increased baggage allowance

  • Premium dining

  • Fully lie-flat beds

  • Direct aisle access

  • Privacy doors or enclosed suites

  • Chauffeur transfers on selected airlines and fares

This is where the differences between airlines and aircraft become significant. One airline may offer a standard reclining seat, while another offers a fully enclosed suite on the same route.

First Class

The highest level of commercial air travel.

First Class experiences may include:

  • Private or enclosed suites

  • Separate beds

  • Fine dining on demand

  • Dedicated airport services

  • Luxury lounges

  • Chauffeur transfers

  • Onboard bars or showers on selected aircraft

Availability is limited and highly dependent on the airline, aircraft and route.

And then there are the cabins that barely feel like planes…

Modern premium cabins now go far beyond a wider seat.

Qatar Airways’ Qsuite offers Business Class suites with privacy doors and lie-flat beds, with selected adjoining centre suites able to form a double-bed arrangement. It is only available on selected aircraft and routes, so the exact flight matters.

Singapore Airlines’ A380 Suites include separate seating and beds, with selected adjoining suites converting into a double suite for two travellers.

Etihad’s Residence is a multi-room A380 suite for up to two guests, with a private living area, bedroom and ensuite shower room.

Emirates’ A380 First Class offers enclosed private suites and fully flat beds, with access to an onboard shower spa on selected aircraft and routes.
